Any news on the Egi glamour yet or no?

I resubbed just to get my character's glamour ready for when it drops. Well that, and to get ready for the new stuff about to come out, but mostly for the Egi glamour.

We don't know if it's coming out, and Square Enix (to my knowledge) hasn't said anything. It's a pretty bad decision on their part to stay silent if they couldn't deliver in 3.4, but it's fine if they surprise us and it's there.

Haven't heard anything on it since like 3.1 or 3.2 where it was implied we should have it, and still nothing... just utter silence...

They said, during a live letter, they are aiming for a 3.4 release date but it may be pushed back to 4.0

So basically, anywhere from 7 days to 6-7 months. Fucking kek.

It sucks for summoners, not only we're stuck with 3 pets and no plan to get more, but now we don't even know if we will get the glamours at some points, considering they keep postponing it.

My guess is that the development load involved turned out to be way more than they were expecting.

Much like with personal housing. They had big dreams of affordable housing separate from Free Company housing, but that turned out to be too ambitious to accomplish within the promised timeline. So, they lumped personal housing in WITH FC housing instead, with no reduction in price, since that was much easier to implement.

I'm content to wait until 4.0 or even later, if it means they're going to do the glamours RIGHT, rather than just slap a horrible quick fix on as they did with housing.

I think if they were going to add it in 3.4. we should have seen or heard something, since there is only silence, I reckon we will not get the glamour system in 3.4. I realy hope I am wrong though.

I just think they will rework Summoner job for 4.0 and turn it into a true Summoner job, that's it.

I doubt that. They've already established what a Summoner is within the FFXIV world both in the lore and the gameplay. As far as FFXIV is concerned, this IS a "true Summoner".

There's nothing wrong with how Summoner plays or how it was implemented, it's just different than what was initially expected. I think it's time to just accept it for what it is.
