One quick question

I know this may sound like rocket science to some, but I have a question regarding my PSN ID.

If I were to change just my PSN name, would I still be able to play my FFXIV game since my SE account is still linked to the PSN account?

For example: I change my name from A to B, would I still be able to log into my game?

PSN/PS4 is so finicky when it comes to FFXIV. I don't know if it would affect you changing your PSN name, but I'd strongly advise against it or contact SE/Sony via phone support to find out before you do anything.

But you can't change your PSN name. Sony has no method of changing PSN IDs

You PSN ID cannot be changed. The name displayed can be.

You can change your displayed name without any problems as you are linked to your PSN ID.
