Computer freezing randomly during gameplay.

Hello all,

I`m posting here at my wits end.
While playing this game my computer freezes completely at random intervals and require a full reboot by holding down the power button for several seconds.
Sometimes it happens after 5 minutes and sometimes after 2 hours.
This is the only game where it happens, all the others run fine with sessions of up to 7+ hours.

I already sent my computer back to the manufacturer and they said they found an error on my video card (NVIDIA GTX 960) so they put in a new one.
I had the game running smoothly again after that and without freezing for a few weeks. But now this afternoon the freezing popped up again...

My system info:
6 month old new computer
Windows 10
Intel Core i5-6600K CPU @ 3.50GHz
Nvidia GeForce GTX960 (Driver version: 372.70, up-to-date)
8 gigs of RAM
DirectX12 (playing on 11)

I have scoured the internet about possible solutions but none of the suggestions work.
I`ve played this game for over a year and my previous computer brick that was 8 years old was running the game without any freezing/crashing issues.

If anyone can help me with it, I will be very grateful.

Are you running your system at stock or Over clocked?

Does it crash in DX9 mode?

I haven`t clocked anything.
Running default factory settings on everything on my machine.
Running Desktop (high) settings for game graphics in Borderless Windows mode.
I`ll try running it with DX9 again for a while.

These are all things I tested as well before sending my desktop back for maintanence and getting the graphics card replacement.

-EDIT: Played for about 20-30 minutes on DX9 settings. Completed a Leveling Roulette, walked over to Retainers for market business and then it crashed again.
