Palace of The Dead - Makes me want to quit the game

I'm still baffled this is in a 2016 game. I had a friend renew a month of FFXIV to play with me, even though he's playing Legion and Black Desert Online, and this is the best way we can play if we have different levels or classes?

That aside, the whole thing is worse than something you'd find in Diablo 1 in 1997. I'm just floored at how horrible it is.

How can anyone who greenlit and designed this be competent enough to match up to other MMOs in the future.

I'm simply in awe of how dreadful this is. I'm literally so stunned I had to make a thread on it, because I'm in total disbelief that someone else didn't have the same reaction.

Perhaps a comprehensive breakdown of where you find flaws in PotD, and sugestions on how to fix them would be helpful.

As your original post is at the current time, it is not constructive criticism.

Its just another no substance leveling dungeon. Wait for floors 101-200. (still won't have any substance)

Recently came back after an 8 month break, and I find PotD to honestly be one of the best additions they've made to the game. In it you can:

Level an alt class fairly quickly (quicker than waiting in dps queues, I believe).
Make money (by selling Materia V)
Get an easily attainable i235 weapon for numerous jobs depending on how much you want to grind
Forego expert roulettes and cap lore with a few full 1-50 runs while making money/getting a weapon
Solo friendly for many jobs
Get to try out new and sometimes wonky party compositions

All in all, I think it is great and would love to know why you dislike it so much.

Those floors are more or less leaderboard challenges, so don't expect anything fancy other than to show off through a title or something for completing it.

Only having finished the 1-10 floor, I'm interested about how the bonus is like for higher floors.
Everything unexciting here--the sight, the music, the mobs. If nothing remarkable, I dare not enter here again--in fear that I would fall asleep.

The lower floors are hilariously, face-rollingly easy.

Then level you get down to level 31 and suddenly you have to coordinate your attacks, plan pomander use to deal with mobs or save them for possible traps or the boss, and pray to RNGesus that this chest doesn't blow up on you. Also, mimics can die in a fire.

But yes, the difficulty does scale quite a bit at higher floors.
