Able to unlink PSN ID?

Long story short, I've been playing on a old PSN ID on my ps3 for ffxiv

I don't have the log in info anymore, recently bought a ps4, but using a new PSN

Can I unlink my old PSN from my current SE account and use a new one? Thanks :>

You'll probably have to sort it through with PS & SE Customer Services. I did the same thing way back when in XI, and had to go through Microsoft (I think) to get it done for me

I don't think you can without completely shutting down the old account, unless you're wanting to make a new service account, you'd still need your old info from what I'm understand from this link

If you're not using the same PSN, you sadly have to make a new SE account under your new ID and start over. I've had to do it in the past.

You will not be able you use the old one while logged in PSN under a different name.

I miss my old account :(

Apparently you can call and ask them or live chat/email to change it for you. Forever sad now.
