Suggested Feature Implementation of Free Company Chat via Website or FF Portal App

Implementation

• On the website, a link titled "Free Company Chat" can be added under the "Community" menu.

  When clicking on "Free Company Chat", the user would be directed to a new page where the main body of the page is a large integrated chat window. This can be implemented by using a plug-in or hard coded in with HTML5/PHP code and require the user to be logged in with the usual standards required for ANY user functions on the site. Once the user is logged in and viewing the page, the player would be able to view and participate in the Free Company's privileged chat. They can send "Tells" to players but only players within the Free Company to avoid exploiting this feature for spam or gil-selling.

• In the FF Portal App, under "Settings", you can add an option to "Enable FFXIV FC Chat", which would allow a floating chat bubble to appear on the side of the app containing the FC's chat.
