With Kingsglaive out in theaters I was wondering if there are any plans to add any of the outfits from the movie to XIV in the future.
We'll almost certainly have a FFXV promotional event. Chances are we'll see some outfits and whatnot then.

Y. It's definately more interesting to let FFXV come into FFXIV after people understand the characters and story from FFXV.

Y. FFXV is an unreleased title so it's natural for not having any players who understand the background properly. We'll steadily wait for the release and until we have enough players who love the characters and world of FFXV ( no pun intended). If you just thing about sales, it's better off to match the event up with the release date, but since they are both from the FF brand, i think that isn't a good idea. To fuse the characters and lore of two worlds, the players need to know both of them. Back when we had the lightning returns event, FFXIII and FFXIII-2 were already out and people around the world knew Lightning, so we turned it into a saga where Lightning visits Eorzea to connect the dots from FFXIII-2 and Lightning returns. So to have an event like i explained, I told Tabata san "let's get an event planned after FFXV is out and things have calmed down". Besides, if we're going to haven an event, we want Noctus and the others to come visit right? (laughs)

I wanty, stops my old Ff15 hype from dieing out....like that could even happen.
I saw the movie. I actually really liked it. Even if you have no idea whats going on, there is ALOT of action in it. Like...ALOT. More then you'd come to expect. The down side? As my friend put it, you'll quickly find out who the game voice actors will be and the movie actors are.
I'm all for the the two games mixing (much more then FFXIII). Honestly if they wanted to, although I doubt it, you could seperate plenty of the gear to each role if not class. I was almost convinced at first I was looking at ninja gear (with the hoods) when they first showed the main characters. That with the knights armor and what not...loved it.
Not only that, but to see some of the final fantasy staple monsters but...actually monsters...was AWESOME. I cant give anymore away on that, but it didn't disappoint.
And hey who knows, maybe we'll finally get that car mount.
