Why are people complaining about the relic nerf?

Why? Some are saying its a huge slap to the people who done it. Some are saying to keep it hard so the relic is earned. In Novice chat one was raging about the 210 step and how he just lost alot of money cause nobody will buy his crafted items required for it. Seriously?

*shrug* I understand the frustration but I don't agree with it. I understand people feel like they wasted all that time grinding out the steps as they were but at the same time, this step has been around for what? Nine months now? If one worked on it from the start one would have had their relic for a good long while at this point. Even people that were still working on it up until patch day, they can now make 2 relics for the price of one essentially. People forget the game is as it is so that you can level and gear multiple classes at some point. That's what catch up patches and QoL changes are for.

People complaining about loss of revenue are most likely new to the crafting game, the market is always fluctuating like that, one should know to expect to find new avenues of production to make profit.

I personally think this idea of make things hard for 2 patches then nerf the crap out of it is a completely garbage system. It bothers me slightly less though with relic as it's a quest that spans the entire expansion, so i don't neccessarily mind if they make the first few steps a bit easier for latecomers.

I complain because a good MAJORITY purposely wait for nerfs and SE still won't create interesting concepts for the weapons.

people complain about everything these days. This is to hard, that is to easy, something is different from FF11, females got this glamour and males not, this dance looks better on males and so on.
It's a new generation of players where the game has to change to their liking instead of people just accepting and pulling through it the way it is.

It's not just here it's everywhere in any game now.

Ad frustrating as this can be, it is something anyone doing the 2.0 relic expected . To be blunt the unidentified step was pretty god awful, I believe it was worse than the zodiac step, qhat I would have liked to see is something like umbrite added to gift of archmagus or beast tribe reward for sands but its no big deal really i just hope to have mine at the current step by the time the next upgrade comes out

It should honestly be expected (or not surprising, at the very least) from anyone that plays the game in general, even if you're not max level. At no point in time for this game does it ever give you the impression that getting things isn't easy or doesn't get nerfed. It's more surprising when things are actually left un-nerfed or "difficult" to obtain. With that said; haters gonna hate.

Complaining is the true endgame.

Could be worse, they could have nerfed the 230 step
