Range Inconsistency
Hello,
I have been having issues with spell range inconsistancy, it's so hard to judge the distance, the problem is so apperent when the ground is not flat. Please fix it. Job is THM
P.S. Am talking about the range of the spell to start casting not the shape of the effected area.
(A little background for me I used to be a BRD in FFXI the range is so consistant I know how far i should be to cast if i wanted to effect a party memeber not the one 1 step next to him)

The issue with height differences is rediculous. In Natalan I can be standing right next to a mob but because we're on a hill I'll get the "mob is at a higher/lower elevation" message.

Agreed... range in this game is first of all too short in almost every instance... for my gladiator to be able to throw a knife at a mob i need to be close enough to aggro it naturally... at which point why am I even bothering?
Height difference penalties need to be toned down and actionable distance from the mob for spells and ranged abilities needs to be adjusted...
I realize this could be a carry over from the initial plan for class differences, (each class has a specific range of action.) but if so it needs to be revised.
