Hi there.
Quick and painless question: Does anyone know whether it is possible to get rid of that huge lettered, completely useless, view obstructing gold text that pops up for ... virtually anything?
I get the same information in the chat window, so I really see no need for this dumb text to be there.

I agree - those can be so annoying (especially with the trumpet blast that seems to herald them, often for the most mundane things like starting a venture or something). Note that some times it makes sense like unlocking a new piece of content, but for random things like starting a quest it seems a little too over the top. So yeah, maybe some way of turning off those announcements in Config would be a welcome change. :)

Okay. Must be on the muted music channel then, never heard it.
Just be glad they nerfed it to not repeat every time you handed in old gear for GC seals. A good stack of hand ins would have that trumpet go on forever.
