Launcher Error
Hi, I started playing a few days ago. Everything was working fine til I was going to play today. The launcher wont bring up the login screen where I input my information, however it says this.
ERROR: 0x00000400
SSLError: 0x0000000a
Canceled From BadCert
certificate has expired
Is there a way to fix this problem? Really want to keep playing :(
Edit: I'm playing on PS4
Edit: I'd also like to add that my wife is playing the game with no problems at all

On your PS4, go to Settings -> PlayStation Network/Account Management -> Restore Licenses

I have a similar issue (going on day 3 now) that i just get a blank white screen with bg music, no login box at all. Resetting the licenses or re-installing the game in my case has done nothing. Hope you have better luck.

I've had the exact same issue as the original poster, It happened after I downloaded that last launcher patch, The launcher itself loads, but not the spot for the login info, in place of the login prompt is the error that the original poster said.
Have tried reactivating licenses on the ps4. Did not fix the problem.
I also tried reinstalling the entire game and expansion, Still same problem.
Problem has still been happening for 5 days now after the launcher updates to its current version, Not able to log in and patch the game at all.

Hi!
The same problem occured to me as well. I contacted the square enix support, but their suggestions didn't help. I managed to find a temporary solution, which isn't the greatest, but at least works.
Here's what helped me:
Go to settings on your PS4 --> Application Saved Data Management --> Saved Data in System Storage --> Delete, then chose Final Fantasy XIV and delete the settings for the system, not for the characters!
You should be able to log in then, but you have to repeat it, every time you want to log in.
If I find a permanent solution, I'll let you know.
