(AOE) Dragoon

Hi Guys,

Just looking for some information just getting back into playing dragoon for a bit, My question is while in dungeon
yesterday a guy said in our party chat, Don't pull big packs with low DPS and bad cooldown rotations The dragoon not even aoeing? No one died at all and i thought i was doing fine until this. Also he said Full TP on a 5-6 pack group =no TP= no aoe

He said it was obvious i was not AoE so please give me pointers on what he wanted. Yeah im trying to learn.

My rotation was HT>ID>DB>BotD>CT>PB Also my jumps on rotation.

Any information on what AOE i could of done better in a large pull by tank would be so helpful.

Uhh, I don't see you using a single AoE ability (Doomspike, Geirskogul, Ring of Thorns).
Basically you want to spam those as much as possible.

Thanks, Its just back when i played Dragoon RoT,AND DS, was not good at DPS output even with large number of mobs. Thanks again just trying to learn as i said.

If you just add up the potencies, at 3+ mobs ANY AoE skill is better than ANY non-AoE skill for Dragoon.

I don't play Dragoon yet, but watching my friends that's what they do.

When it comes to Dungeons, the higher the number of mobs pulled gets the more pointless singletarget abilities become. At a certain point the difference between aoe and singletarget abilities becomes so great that you might as well go afk if you are ST'ing. So i can see why the other players were somewhat annoyed.

For DRG, make sure you keep up HT and then spam doomspike until HT falls off. If you correctly do HT from the flank you also get a combo into RoT which you should use to save a bit of TP. After that make sure to use invigorate when you fall below 500 TP.

Dont forget B4B and internal release, and dragonfire drive. And invigorate

When was this? Because Doomspike has always been the best option for goons on large numbers of enemies.

Could you use heavy thrust ct combo under BoTD and geriskoul and jumps with ocd
