Request: Portable Orchestrion?

I was not really interested in Orchestrion at first, but I've started to enjoy it as another Pokémon aspect of Eorzea, and I now find odd satisfaction in flipping the switch and playing a different BGM whenever I enter a room or Inn.

What I would really like however, is the ability to play all these Orchestrion rolls I'm collecting while out in the open world. For example, changing to a Playlist, Shuffle, or just a favorite track to liven up:

• Crafting
• FATE farming
• Relic grinding
• Chocobo grinding
• Deep Dungeon grinding (Pomander of Rage to Pa-Pa-Ya, etc)
• etc!

So, some sort of portable Orchestrion, like an iPod. ... oPearl?

There could be limitations to preserve immersion/etc:

• Maybe expensive to craft/purchase
• Maybe needs some kind of 'battery' to run continuously (crystals?)
• Not available in certain areas (maybe recently-released areas, with new music to hear; housing [use a normal Orchestrion for parties]; in Parties?)
• Not allowed in certain story-driven instances and cutscenes
• etc
