Black Screen (Solo Duty) Main Heavensward Quest Line "Divine Intervention"

I’ve been playing about a month now and really enjoying the game, but last night experienced my first issue.

While progressing through the Heavensward Main Story quest line, I came upon the solo Duty “Divine Intervention.” After clicking on the glowing NPC to start it, my screen when black with the little loading wheel spinning at the bottom right...this continued for 5 or so minutes.

I attempted to logout/login but couldn’t access the in-game controls to do so, and had to force quit the program. After logging back in, my character logged into the same black screen with spinning wheel. I had to force quit again, and resigned to reboot my PC.

Rebooting did reset my character, but when I clicked the NPC to start the solo duty once more, it all started again. I continued this 4 more times before reaching out to “support,” only to find out that no individual support exists in-game (which breaks my heart, since I’ve quickly fallen in love with this game)…now I’m scared.
