Dyeable chocobo racing helmet!!

It'd be really nice if, like chocobos themselves, the helmet earned from the pedigree achievement was dyeable. It would be so much easier to use with other glamours without having to dye everything else yellow as well (if the rest even can be dyed) and it would be cool if we could match our chocobo color. It takes a lot of work to change the color of a chocobo and it takes a lot of work to get the helmet, it'd be nice if we could connect the two related things better. And the item being so limited after all the time put into getting it is a little frustrating. A /visor option would be cool also.

Nope, you aren't alone. This had actually been requested really, really long ago. While I'm at it, even though there's confirmation on making succubus horn dyeable sometime back, it still hasn't happen yet. Is this still in the works?

On a side note, can we get chocobo feet (shoes) and dyeable succubus-theme glamour gear as new gold saucer items please? :3

That would be really nice, Being able to dye it the same colour as my current racing birds would be super fun ^^

They can make the chocobo suit dyeable too while they're at it. I always wanted to be a fabulous pink chocopopoto.

I'm not a fan of the bright chocobo yellow and always dye my bird a peanut brown.
I'd love it if we could dye some of the chocobo gear like we can dye our bird~

Either way, OP, it doesn't look like SQEX modifies old gear to become dyeable. How/where would you ideally like to see them add in replica chocobo gear?

Easy, a higher version of an achievement. They already have loads of undyable gear with dyable version you can get. Why not do the same with this? It seems silly that we can dye chocobo all the colors of the rainbow, and even race chocobo come in a variety of colors, but the helm can't be dyed. How can I show my pet fanaticism without having a helmet with matching color. Does no one in SE have an unhealthy love of pets like I do?

Seriously though, despite this thread being ancient, it's still relevant, I'd personally love this. There was a point in 14 where I would only wear the racing chocobo mask with desert yellow coloured gear, don't do it nearly as much nowadays, but the mask is still great.

Theres even a dyed red version used as a prop aboard the Prima Vista! Can go look for yourself in game.
