Introduction Quests

I started a character from LimoLanisa (spelling is off) and found only the one quest that ended in the Camp just outside of the city. I spent several hours running around to try and figure out what to do and where to go from there, and found nothing. I ended up with the 1 levequest from the camp and then could only grind enemies outside for the next 48 hours until the next levequest opened up. I know there are guides on fan sites and the such to direct players where to go, but new players won't know to check these sites nor should they have to when they are just starting the game.

I think a few more introductory quests are needed to help direct new players as to what they need to do in the game. FFXIV needs something to pull new players in and get them acclimated to the world around them. I understand you want to hold true to your FFXI roots (as evident by the way the game controls and moves just like it), but in this age where you have lots of competition you need to do as much as you can to get players hooked from the start.

Just my note to the development team regarding introduction quests.

It is mentioned in the Producer's Letters that this is something they are working on, so hopefully it will be implemented at a later date.
