Customizing i240 relic for PvP

I've seen this pic floating around with secondary stat caps in lv.60 PvP

Now, the question is, how exactly are stats downsynched to i150 caps?
i240 relic has 240 secondary stats, so if I have 120 crits, 115 det (relic's cap) and 5 ss, it'll be synched to 56 crits, 53 det and 5 ss?
But what if my relic has 56 crits, 56 ss, 56 pie, 53 det, 19 acc (240 total), will these stats synch without change, or they all be roughly halved?

gear with more than two secondary stats gets synced way harsher (see: diadem gear).

relic weapon will never be considered bis for pvp. better to go with i205, which is technically a higher ilvl weap than relic in pvp.

As far as I'm aware, these stats will sync without change, as the sync simply caps the stats at the maximum eligible value - the total cap. I mused about the possibilities of this in another thread already actually, but I'm not inclined to give a clear:"Yes!" without at least one person confirming.

Morale doesn't work in lv.60 pvp as intended (it only upgrades i180 pvp gear to 'i210' so both secondaries are synched to i150 capped) and i190 or i205 or i245 PvE weapons have the same secondary stats when synched to i150. Diadem gear is an exception as all secondary stats are ignored when synched.

I have i240 relic with 56 crit/acc/speed, 53 det, and 19 piety. The stats all work in PvP

So relic IS best-in-slot weapon for PvP. You'd think a leader of PvP based FC would know these thngs.

i205 with +40 morale means it's i245 weapon before sync when entering PvP area. Take the patch where it made how cast interruption is made and i205 PvP weapon is best for this. And no, not all weapons have the same secondary stats when synced, some have more crit, det, etc than others and some have less; this is how you can fine tune your gear to get the best possible stats for Crit/Det.

Did you miss the patch where Diadem gear works? I guess you did. And I appreciate your call out on your last post, but I have no tested this or heard of anyone that has so I was just going off the assumption of how Diadem gear works. I fail to see how relic weapon is BiS still.

You need only i190 to cap both secondaries when synched to i150. Cast interruptions are based on ilevel which is, once again, capped at i150. You'll not get less interruptions in i240 gear lmao. And I tested diadem gear stats recently and they still haven't worked, despite being in patch notes.
