Insight on server communities

Hey everyone. :)

I'm thinking of transfering servers and of course I don't want to do it blindly so I was hoping I could get some info to help me make a choice. I want to move to a NA server. As for population I'd say high but medium could do depending on how active the community is in PF and such. I'm not wanting to raid right now but a healthy raid community for future possibility would be nice too.

Beyond that I'm curious what the servers are like. For example, I've heard Balmung is an unofficial RP server (not into rp myself), while Gilgamesh is where all the raiders flocked to.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Been agonizing over it for a while. XD
