Need some information please.

Hi there all, I haven't played FFXIV for a while and I have recently returned and I was hoping for a little advise.
I have a level 19 THM and I wonderd what would be the best type of gear to have after all of the changes in 1.19 (I have no idea what equipment Im looking for in the market wards for my THM armor and weapon wise and I could use a little help).
Also is there a new recipe guide somewhere as I have no idea what to craft to level my 11 Weaver.

Im not really a magey type so I cant advise all that well. But since you have had no response so far....

The way I research new gear is by going to one of the FFXIV database websites that are out there. My favorite by far at the moment is Mooglebox

It also has a has all the new crafting recipies so its win:win! :)

Hmmm, I've been using http://ffxiv.gamerescape.com/wiki/Guide:Betty_White's_Weaver_Guide and @ that level, i'd say just wear what you can find, like hempen gear. Probably be best to make it actually. Hempen Cowl, Cotton Cowl ect.

Only problem is it doesn't show you the item stats. I use that in combination with a database site.

As for equipment, I'd say that you should just worry about using stuff that is at or slightly below your level. Since "optimal" gear doesn't work as well as it used to if it is at a level higher than your current class level. This is especially important for your weapon. Your weapon level should be at or slight below your level for the full stat bonuses.

For Solo i typically focus on evasion and mp/hp gear. For party play i use more stat oriented gear mostly pie and int slotting in m.acc where its available. As far as weapon i normally go for a wand/shield combo. but thats just me.
