Eos/Selene Spawn Issue in Palace of the Dead

Issue has occurred since the 3.35 hotfix

Two issues can occur with her:

• She can despawn
• She doesn't spawn in the retaining start point with the party

First problem is a minior annoyance causing you to have to recast the fairy between floors (for example: between spawning in floors 33 and say 34.) with no real reason as to why she has despawned. No level cap has impeded the effect. She just randomly leaves.

The 2nd problem is more problematic... A party will be spawning into a brand new floor and still be locked into the invisible starting ring (i dont know its name sorry We call it the "Kiddie pool" ^^;;;) Before the party is released the fairy will fly in from another room that no one has even been in yet. Bringing with her.. every mob that has seen her. I've had her pull in 5 mobs at the start for no real reason. It's as if the fairy can not quite make out where her master has gone between floors.

It's very hard to replicate at times because its just so random. Sometimes a run with result in no spawn issues. Sometimes multiple times a run (a run meaning 1-50). May happen to Selene more then Eos.

Other info

• No the pet was not placed.
• Happens randomly with no reason
• Happens to both Pc and Ps4
• User in US and EU

My guess is that some of the floors, are the same map. Imagine they are just behind a wall. Maybe you teleport close to the spawn point, while eos/selene gets slept in place. :0 Just a maybe!

It's not just fairies, SMN pets will do the same thing, went to another floor and had my friends ifrit two rooms down tanking 3 wandering mobs at the start of the floor

Rawrz you're probably exactly right with that. We may just be teleporting to different parts of the same map as we explore, simply walled off from each other. It's very common in games.

Selene bailed on me a couple times too though she didn't bring friends back for me at least. She just up and ditched and I had to resummon her. Maybe she's jealous the book is brighter than her...she always struck me as the sassy one.

Seen that happen and I wonder if it's the same problem that happens in between ultima and lahabrea fight in praetorium. It looks like it's the same area but your pet always goes poof. And I think same thing happened in castrum meridium between cannons phase and the final phase of Livia.
