Odin???
So I was looking over NPCs and got to the part where the Padjal were listed, noticed they didn't list the newest Padjal either, lol. But I got to O-App-Pesi, the Padjali in charge of the Odin quests, and it got me wondering, will we get any more Odin quests, to explain the backstory and the current story a bit more?

O-App-Pesi had a more major role in 1.0's story where he was actually the Guildmaster of the CNJ's Guild, due to E-Sumi Yan having been out in communion with the elementals in the forest (and who returned at the start of 1.0's Gridanian storyline). He even appeared alongside the player in one story battle, where the player had to fight an elemental that was out of control (the elemental would regularly shift it's.. uh.. elemental alignment and hence the player had to click on O-App to get him to cast a buff corresponding to that element which would cancel the elemental's attack out).
He also had an infamous line that was a reference to Star Wars Episode IV A New Hope:

;)
I always preferred O-App to E-Sumi (at least in 1.0), as he was a lot more calmer and kinder than E-Sumi who was downright cold and aloof at times - ARR greatly toned E-Sumi's coldness down considerably and he's a lot more agreeable now, thus I was rather disappointed to see O-App kind of pushed into the background and only showing up for that one Odin quest.
So yeah, I would really like to see him return to the limelight and have more a major part to play in the story, as he was a really interesting character. :)

I could be wrong but I think you focused more on O-App than Odin? My post was asking about future Odin quests, since last we heard the sword (primal) went missing because a wood wailer (I think it was a wood wailer) got corrupted by the sword. Granted O-App would be along for the ride, but I was more focused on Odin.

Bear in mind that the Odin quests had to end with the sword being lost again in order for the recurring FATE to continue to make sense. In this case the wood wailer was tempered and ran off with the sword, possibly becoming a new host body for the Dark Divinity. I'm not sure if we'll ever see any direct resolution to Odin's story unless the devs decide to treat the FATE as belonging to the 2.0 time bubble.
Given that Odin is a confirmed Eikon, however, I wouldn't be surprised if we get more of his history after the Triad are dealt with. The nature of Eikons is still very unclear and I think Odin's origin (or rather the sword's origin) may be involved in the reveal of whatever they truly are. There's speculation that they are primals born of physical objects rather than manifested from pure aether.

not fully sure but didn't a dev mention as a joke that Odin (the real one not the sword-Primal) might not be dead?

Having the npc being tempered and stealing the sword help lends to the system where Odin takes the form players, although we are all WoL sooo *shrug*. I feel if they explained it it would be less interesting if you get my drift.
