Gear being in two places at once.

I am not quite understanding why gear can be in our bag and yet we are wearing it at the same time. So it is in two places at once? >.> I think SE should make it so if we equip something it should no longer be in our bag and in our hand/body etc at the same time.

Make it so gear is only in one place please, it makes more sense! I remember in Lineage, Aion etc whenever I equip an item it no longer shows as being in my bag but it just shows it being on my character. I hope this makes sense. :)

it makes perfect sense remember that aspect is from the old phail team so give yoshi time im sure once he fixes the more bothersome issues like ui and the current server system he'll focus on the minor details like this one

It's important the gear being in inventoery fulltime. With the system that activelly requires you to change class, having the gear leave the inventory would not only increase processing burden but also bring some issues when you have full/almost full inventory.

Then your bag gets full and you are unable to remove your gear. You don't need to take the "bag" concept too literally. Obviously our characters wouldn't be able to carry around 200 large items while fighting and running at full speed. Also, if you look carefully at your character you'll see that there isn't actually a bag at all...

With the changes of keeping your gear magically tied to your class's respective mannequin that gear won't be taking up inventory space anyway, so this point will be moot soon enough.

I am a person who has inventory crisis all the time, ever since FFXI. And when I'm frustrated with my lack of free inventory slots, or when I'm dozing off, I mumbled, asked, or even yelled, the exact same question as you did!

But then yeah, like what other people pointed out, I then realized it would be a BIG mess if we change class and equipped gear popped out, only to find no space to land into. Maybe we will see an accident yard sale in the middle of Ul'dah's main street - a miserable Miqo'te kneeling, crawling around trying frantically to pick up her stuff that fell everywhere onto the ground, but to no avail because her bag is already full and she can't equip them. LOL. XD

I like this idea. OP has some good ideas!
