So, if i entered with a fixed party solo and completed floor 10, does that mean to progress from that point and with my current weapon and armor ratings, i have to continue to enter solo? The rules are a little bit wonky.

You keep your Armor/Weapon levels across all jobs you enter with even after resetting a save, your progress varies depending on your party setup, etc
You can change to matched party but not reverse.
