How does a solo-fc work?

I tried to do a solo fc,
3 guys on the server helped me to set it up and right after they left the FC.

I tried to craft or do other things that should earn points, but I got no FC points at all.
Is there any limit for it?

GC turn ins are where its at.

Find something small, cheap and easy to make like Imperial operative chokers and turn them in. No need for hq so you can autosynth. Lot on everything in dungeons and turn them in. By far the fastest and easiest way to earn points. You can get rank 6 for housing in a matter of a few hours. Faster if you have a bunch of old gear from void ark and such laying around you can turn in right away.

Then you can also use the gc seals you earn from all those turn ins to stock up on coke, aqueous whetstones and all the other crud you need for airship components.

The Delivery effectively work fine, both the crafting/gathering GC delivery and the dungeon gear delivery.
But actually if I do a dungeon, if I craft or gather, I don't get any points from it, what am I missing?

Only certain things give FC seals. I noticed it on HQ fishing (maybe gathering in general HQ?); GC turn ins; leveling up; anything that give GC seals as well.

I believe only HQ crafting/gathering earns you any points and unless they changed it, it's minimal. GC turn ins are by far the fastest way to earn easy fc points so if you are looking for quick and easy points that is how you do it. Otherwise almost anything you do from leveling up, fates, roulettes, etc all should get you points.

Also the fewer people you have online the more points you get which is great for solo fc.

Ty a lot, I knew that it was related to the amount of connected players, but I tought it was exactly the opposite x)
Actually I have only one class at lv51 on that server, so I'm trying to greed all dungeons green items but, I wont' go to farm them,
I think I'll slowly gain my rank this way, and trying to level up 3 crafting classes to unlock the desyntesys and I'll do it crafting HQ items instead of tonze of NQ rapid syntesys xD

It's actually a x2 or x3 bonus if you are alone and the bonus gets lowered until 3 people online at the same time. At the start of my FC we were 3 ppl and I often logged in on off hours just to get the bonus :p

Even if I can get that if your FC is very populated, you will cap the FC points immediately,
but it's an MMO, it should incentive people to play together, expecially among FC mates in my opinion.
