Relic 3.3 Anima growth: Stat allocation caps

Hi there, I'm possibly mentally stuck somehow, but I don't understand the caps on the new relic weapon.
I'm currently doing AST, with 148/240 progress. I've done spell speed first, and aiming for determination next. Now, the main gauge is 240, with individual stats going for 126 piety, 120 accuracy, 120 crit rate, 115 determination and 120 speed. My weapon therefore will be 120 speed and 115 det. But that makes 235 on the main gauge :Q
What happens with the left over 5 points? Will the main gauge change to 235? Or will I have 5 points to allocate somewhere else (which sound a bit useless to me)?
What would happen on the other hand if I went 126 piety and 120 speed? 246 main gauge? D:

You can/have to add overall 240 points not more or less.
So If you do Sps Det = 235 you can maybe put 5 pie or crit and if you cap Piety u have 114 other points.

Siednote if you DPS accuracy on relic is just OP ^^

About that... I had all my gear melded with accuracy, and since the upgraded Hailstorm gear I found I can remove the acc and go for speed instead. I don't miss anymore o_O was this ninja patched? I know SE said they would do something about healer acc in duties, but never saw any patch notes about it. My current acc is 426 and I had maybe 2 misses on gravity (2 targets, not full miss) since I started upgrading and lost around 72 acc.

They have adjusted accuracy in dungeons that's all. For stuff like savage you still need caster caps.

I have a full accuracy (120) SCH relic and I always cry now on WHM/AST as I redid my melds and now have 585 accuracy on SCH but only 465 on the other 2 :X
But yea dungeon accuracy requirements were nerfed in 3.3 so it is mostly if you raid even if only occationally it is worth to use those free slots.

It is possible to reset the attributes? I heard about something at the end of the quest should it be possible.

You can but you need the sands to change them. No umbrite needed though.
