Item restoration help

Why is it impossible to restore an item from over a week ago? I accedentily deleted my Prelude-Discoveries Orchestration Scroll and I won't be able to get it back ever again since it was an achievement item. I submitted a support ticket no more than a week and a half later and after like 2 weeks of back and forth between bots I have no information on why they can't restore an item lost more than a week ago. It is just really frustrating because the only way I can get the item again is if I make a new character. Sorry for the rant, I am just pretty sad about it.
