Most likely falling on deaf ears, but try not to screw up Cross server Party finder.

If done right, that feature alone has the ABILITY(not saying it WILL, just saying it CAN) to invigorate endgame activities. There will be almost no need to server transfer due to the lack of worthawhile activity in one's current server. Primal mount farms could be everywhere since you'll have a datacenter's worth of people to search through(reliably since duty finder is a thing for older primals...). The raiding scene could be helped slightly since cross server statics would be theoretically possible. There's other possibilities too, but I can't be bothered to list more.


The only way I can see them screwing this up is by having the feature apply to current content only with little to no lobby options. That's also how I expect them to do it too. Remember Raid Finder? >_>

I don't know how you can look at the current state of PF and the player-base that uses it and think this won't be a colossal disaster.

Would be great for at least unsync stuff (pony farms) that aren't too serious and mount farms that have fallen out of popularity like the older birds. Might help the people that need 1 static rep to practice or something. Since they said they will have cross server chat, I'm gonna assume there's gonna be a cross-server blacklist as well.

Maybe you could make an entire weeping city alliance or some nonsense with it if they allow alliances.

Ok all serious this can help alot to find people for old content too i mean i love to do coils but sometimes even find 1 person for that its hard xd... And i need my t12 and t13 clear xD

It's just going to be full of random messages for the sake of attention like "Sickness must be Purged" to attempt some kind of message chain, or advertisements for your 3 star recipes and leve kits.

I think the heavy amount of sarcasm, cynicism, and negativity speaks in volumes of the real issue here.

The idea itself is good. The only way it may fail is purely through the community's actions or lack thereof.
