How do I start paladin job quest?

I've finished all or my class quest for gld and cjr up to 30/15 and I still don't have have the job quest for paladin open.

Any help would be appreciated

Did you do the Sylph MSQ?

Have you finished up through Sylph-management in the MSQ? That's also needed to unlock jobs.

What? Lol I'm a noob so bare with me plz..

Continue with your main story quests until you get the part with the sylphs. Finish that and you'll get the notices for your main job quests.

They're the quests with the meteor-looking icon as opposed to just the standard exclamation mark.

Eeeverything is unlocked through the Main Scenario Quest. Never stop following it! If you're new to Final Fantasy games as a whole, be aware that they're typically very heavy on story, and this one is no exception. You can skip the numerous cutscenes it contains (hit esc when they come up) but I don't recommend it.

If there's one piece of advice regarding it, it's this: Try not to be in a hurry.

Oh yeah, and don't be afraid to ask players questions. That's two pieces of advice, I suppose.
