Did they change the Leve chest spawn rate?

I don't know if I was just really unlucky but it looks like they reduced the chest spawn rate for amber chests. I stopped at the 40th one without seeing one chest. Has anyone else tried since the last update?

I always do the large scale leves and see chests 1/3 of the time. As long as I have leves, I can pretty well stack up the amber vilekin

They also drop 5 to a chest instead of 1.

Feels like it.

Used up 90 leve allowances, scoured each area for chests, and 0/9.

Not a great sample size, but jeeze.

Used 34 allowances and 14/34 so I guess we can blame RNG... (small leve)

Its always better to do Small leves, you will get double the vilekins

I got 18 out of 100 leves from the one just outside Moghome.

Eh, I'm fine doing the large-scale. You may get less vilekin per allowance on average, but it takes SO much less time. Large-scale vilekin come in at an adequate rate compared to the rate at which I acquire Esoterics, so I'm satisfied with that.

To the OP: Haven't notice any reduced rate of chests; been seeing chests on about one every three or so leves. I think you must've just had an unlucky streak.

I appear to have about 8% chest drop rate per leve. Mix of single and large.
In party? Yes.
In party with more than Choco? Yes

Tested with 134 leves after the initial run of 99 leves.
Initial run of 99 leves was closer to 16% (so about what you should get for a 20% chest drop rate).
Looks to now be 10% drop rate.

EDIT: Initial run was after 3.3 landed.
All other leves occurred after June 15th maintenance.

Two of my FC mates were doing these and reported the drop rate was approximately 1 out of 10 leves.

It almost feels like it varies by day for me. I just did 50 leves and got 10 amber.
