New to Bard: Does spellspeed melds effect WM?

Thread: Does spellspeed melds effect Wander's Minuet? Does it effect it enough with enough melds to notice a difference?

Has anyone tried this?

I've been tempted since the explanation says "adds casting time".

no, and its pretty silly.stupid to think so. skill speed does affect cast times for bard and mch, because that is what non magic jobs use for any and all GCDs.

Your SkillSpeed will affect the cast time during WM.

You don't have to be rood. It was a simple question. I don't think it was stupid to think so, I'm new to bard... and the description says "casting time" I assumed that to be a spell speed reference. I'm an old ffxi player and anything that "casts" was magic related.

You want more skill speed to reduce the cast times of weaponskils in Wanderer's Minuet.

Spell speed reduces the cast time of songs like Foe Reqiuem and Mage's Ballad. :p So if you want faster songs, stack spell speed. ;) (Do NOT stack spell speed on Bard for a serious build.)

Though keep in mind for accessories you want det over speed if you play any other DEX jobs. The weight for BRD is speed > det but it's 0.002 apart, and the other jobs are both det > speed.

the game literally tells you if you hover over skill speed or spell speed.

Doesn't justify being rude to a player just seeking information to be better at the game. Perhaps he didn't know that tool tip is offered or where to find it. Maybe he simply forgot, etc.

Plenty of people are willing to answer that question and many others like it. If you find it obnoxious then simply don't respond.

Issue is when it comes to rings and such as Ninja can also use them, and we certainly as heck do not meld skill speed, lol
