Keyboard issue on PS4

Im having an issue with my keyboard attached to my PS4. On my main character, whenever I press a hotkey for an ability, it just starts typing the number, or the letters if I try walking or opening up the map....etc. on other characters, it functions perfectly. I've reset everything to default, switched from controller to keyboard and back, shut the console down and restarted, and I still have the same issue. I'm out of ideas. Anyone else had this happen before got a solution for me?

Well I seem to have been able to fix the issue. Changed a couple of setting, then hit default a few times then changed the one setting I wanted changed and now it's working.
