Do I lose house access if I leave a guild

Hello all. My current guild is gone. Well there was 3 of us and I'm the only one left. I'm basically the caretaker of the house at this point. I want to find a new guild to join but I don't want to lose my house access. Can I join another guild and still get access to the house? I don't want to start a new guild or recruit. I just want to join an established guild and raid and run dungeons. If anyone can advise me on this I would really appreciate it. I suppose I could walk away if push came to shove but I don't want to leave our house!

Create an alt, make the alt join the old FC, transfer leadership to alt, leave.
That way you have control over the house as the alt.

If its the guild house and you leave/disband the guild, the house will either go back to sale or will stay empty for 45 days before the land is relinquished. You could, ofc, try to buy the plot straight away after the FC is disbanded and make it your personal home...

But, yes, if you leave the FC you'll lose access to the FC-house ofc.

I believe I would have to adjust my sub for this (I have the 1 char per server option) but I could temp switch over until my old guildies come back which I think they might but not sure.

You can certainly recruit more ppl, and build from scratch. Any other FC that you join will most likely have their own house as well, so you would have the option of selling your fc to someone and then leaving also.

Sadly its not my house and I was specifically asked not to sell it by a RL friend. Yes I went outside one day and made friends...never again.

I can appreciate you keeping your word to your friend, but if you are the only person left in the fc then......welcome to home ownership

As far as Im aware, selling an FC/house is now a bannable offence. OR atleast Yoshi-P made mention at E3 that they do not condone it.

Not really. Yoshi was very vague with his answer, saying that it's only a problem if someone's selling for an "enormous amount of gil compared to the plot's original price", which is unclear and very foggy. What is an enormous amount of gil? So it's alright as long as you sell if for 5 mil extra on the original price? Or is it too much?

He simply didn't gave a straight up answer even though he should.
