Flying DeLorean mount

Please do this, or some version of it, make it your own if you must! Flying car! Pretty please, maybe FFXV crossover car that flies? I look forward to it!

No cars, it just doesn't match Eorzea.

Exactly, Eorzea/Hydaelyn are at an end of medieval/early industrial area level of societal and technological development - they don't even have permanent sealed roads! A car would just get bogged in the sand the moment you tried driving it out the gate.

You only have to look at the chocobo carriages which don't even have wheels (they float above the ground from balloons) to prove that point - Eorzea's primitive roads which are barely tracks are not suited to wheeled transport - this is also why chocobos are uniquely suited to Eorzean conditions, even more than horses. A chocobo's feet are better at runing in the loose sand and gravel than a horse. Why else do you think the Garleans went for walking mechs instead of road vehicles? No, cars just would not suit this game.

i think any wheel would work better than a carriage floating with balloons above the ground. every time you go up- or downhill you have to adjust the height of the carriage so you don't hit the ground or dragging the poor chocobos into air xD

Pfft, we already have a flying rocket turtle and we're about to get some carnival ghost mount thingy from that collab event. It'll only be a matter of time until we see police cars flying around, lol.

what do you think is the reward for the FF15 collaboration event? xD

Honestly, to those whom doubt a cars placement due to so called "eras," really should take into consideration of the allagan/garlean technology. We've only seen Erozea, not the Garlean Empire homeland yet, and even then their fortresses suggest advanced futuristic technology. They've also even called Erozeans savages as well, also suggesting this access to advanced technology. Take all that into consideration, and the possibility Erozea might be a future society, with the acknowledgement that Courels are descendants of "ancient" tigers.
