A better way to finish the relic?

Hi guys. I rarely come on here but I am struggling just doing the same boring things for the relic all the time. Right now my method is to roll on everything to get 4 moonstones + one from Ixal delivery and max eso/ almost cap poetics to get mists and ink. Basically, after doing this since maybe 3rd day after patch day, I've hit a 100/240. The eso is easy, and the poetics are easy if s ranks are available. I have about 8 million gil on me and haven't bought a single relic turn in on the mb yet. Would it be worth spending to boost it/ do the foundation leves for vilekins? My best crafter bsm is only 53 though... so can't do any scrips stuff.

I'm doing my main relic (AST) I have 100 crit points and I will max it to 120. Should I do SS or det?

I do recommend temple leves in dravania foreland, chocobo escort
The chocobo appear under a tree root arch and there is 4 mobs in front of him
The chest is located here near the monster and contain 5 vileskin
And it appear quite often

As for the relic
Depend whch kind of healer you are
Raid off healer in noct might go crit/acc
Main heal diurnal would go crit/SS or crit/deter/ss

The most adaptative is Crit/SS which work for both sect

I only got 4 out of the 30 allowances I had. It is better than nothing so thanks. Crit/ss it is!

The chest drop is rather unpredictable though, you can waste many leves and not have a chest containing one.
Easier is to just trade in stuff and or do fates for GC seals and get moonstones.
Sand is the easy part, it's the other part that you need to purchase an item with tomes that makes this grind long i think.

Honestly, I've found the easiest way to get the sand is to turn in the 5 blue gathering scrips. One or two nodes gives you enough for 5. I have 9 sands sitting in my inventory, just waiting on the corresponding umbrite.

I agree with this. I have a very easy time getting moon stones and the vendor items for poetics. And nah, the umbrite is alright, honestly. I've been maxing eso or close to max every day and it has been good.
