Awkward highlighted period in item names

A good example can be found in this thread, in Raldo's screenshot. Take for example the synthesis result near the top: "Tonega Warosu creates 12 brass squares." (Edit: it's hard to see but I did indeed highlight the period)

Now, I understand why the period is highlighted. Only the item text is supposed to be displayed in white, while synthesis/other system messages are displayed in blue. Since the period is not part of the item name, it's displayed in blue. But there's no way I'm the only one who thinks it looks weird, is there? Just curious, was this intentional? Or can/will it be fixed in the future? As always, thanks for all the hard work localization team ;)

I agree with you it definetly looks weird.
