DEV Suggestion: Special abilities/traits on gear and how to do it fairly
Yoshi recently stated in an interview that he did not want special abilities/ traits on gear b/c then it would make things less balanced. I think an equal way of doing it is that the odd numbered patches when we have to chase an item to upgrade for tome gear; make the upgraded tome gear include special abilities/traits; therefore everyone can get them. In addition gear dropped gear from savage will have the special abilities/traits as well to award the more skilled players; those players can earn/experience those special abilities/traits earlier since they can be earned in the even numbered patches.
For balance purposes: All tank sets have x trait, all healer sets have y trait, all melee dps have z trait, range phy sets have j trait, & range caster have s trait.
