i really hope there will be a patch to fix/change bard WM charge sound

ever since i got WM all i hear in battle is the hissing sound from the WM charge effect. the sound is somehow (for me) louder than any other sound effect from the other skill, even when iam in party most of the time all i hear is the hissing sound.

they could at least use more subtle sound considering WM is active pretty much on every skill you apply. i hope one day the dev feel some sympathy and "fix" it somehow.

i know someone probably said to mute it but, i just cant, playing game (not just this game) without sound effect just doesnt sit right for me :

It doesn't bother me personally but I can sympathise with your case. What would you suggest as a substitute though? A tensing string/wood or nothing at all?

I dont mind if they can get rid of the hissing sound completely, the WM itself is just "on" and "off" skill, its not like it need to have sound indicator (aside from the sound effect when you turn on the WM)

But if they need to have sound attach to it, tensing string/wood from the "heavy shot" skill is ideal for it. it make more sense to WM charge effect since WM is like "focus/concentration mode" in essence, your char pull his bowstring harder thus the tense/cracking sound from the bow.

Off course the tensing string/wood sound from the heavy shot need to go.

Or if anything else, the standard mage casting sound is also good, anything better than the high pitch hissing sound.

I'm more bothered by the fact that it's the exact same sound effect and graphic (sans the color) to gauss barrel. WM in general really shouldn't be the way it is if MCH is going to be around.

I only noticed it when you mentioned it, and then I forgot about it 30 seconds later. I think it'll eventually fade to the back of your head soon. I was doing this with GB though and not WM though if that changes anything but I doubt it does.
