Favour the Majority... As per usual...

I am tired as a solo dungeon player, going into a dungeon to grind tomes and being put with a 3-man non-English premade that will kick me at the last boss, if I complain that the tank is pulling way too much for me to handle. I am sick of this "speed run" junkies who are too stupid to take dungeons at a nice, manageable pace, the way that the game is intended to be.

Yet I get kicked for basically asking the tank to slow down. Its funny how this game is like every other MMO and built to cater to large groups of player rather then individual players or solo players.

Obviously this is an MMO, its a multiplayer game but I shouldn't have to be bullied by foreign premades, abusing the kick player feature whenever they feel like it. Its disgusting that Square Enix hasn't sorted this out. People cannot be trusted with a feature like that in the game because people will abuse it.

I cannot enjoy any of the environments of new dungeons or check out any of the different features, like the signposts in the Fractal Continuum because of these mindless idiots. These idiots just ruin the game for me.

So... Don't queue solo?

If you want to take your time form your own party.

You complain about people going too fast. But in DF the other members have no obligation to go slow either. You may not want to adhere to the group but they don't have to adhere to you either.

The vote kick system can be abused, yes, but having no kick system would make abuse even worse. A tank/healer could just refuse to do the dungeon, which in most cases dooms the group to eat penalty.

...Is it really hard to respect someone's wishes to slow down and lend a hand? Like seriously...This is primarily why DF is so toxic. People don't want to deal with each other in any shape or form. Don't want to help each other. Just get in and get out.

I could very well reverse your statement and ask if it's really that hard for the one person who wants to go slow to just accept the fact the other members want to go fast?

It doesn't even have to be a premade to make sense. If I am doing leveling roulette on my tank I'll ask if people want full clear or just breeze through. If 2 people want to breeze through but one wants full clear, I'm not going to do a full clear.

Except we have no context. For all we know the OP was rude in the way he asked to slow down. Having only one side of the story leaves us with a biased view.

That is completely correct, its was disgusting to witness. I asked politely if they could slow down and got called a "noob" and to "shut the f**k up". This is typical of attitudes in the game.

So then report for harassment and move on. You probably wouldn't want to run the rest of the dungeon with these people anyway if they're that rude. GMs can see chat logs and will take appropriate action if your claims are justified.

Making a post here about kick abuse, however, will do nothing, because as I said, this system is necessary to prevent even worse abuse. It's impossible to make an " abuse free " system.

It's really not a matter of wanting to run with them or not. It's the concept behind him being kicked because he just asked for a slower pace. Dungeons aren't that demanding and I do understand that people want to get it done ASAP. I get majority rules. But that doesn't mean it isn't frustrating all the same. It makes you wonder if it's ever safe to even use DF for example because your experiences with it are always terrible. It shouldn't be that way.
