Poll: Would you Like to see a change in the current formula of FFXIV

For Information purposes, I want to hear what you guys think. If you could, try to get more than just people from the forums to respond. The more replies we get the more the we have to draw from

I forgot to add that the removal of our current tome system would be nice too and instead having more different ways to gear up. Think of that as being included in the first option

Feel free to reply with suggestions on spicing up the game if you feel it should be changed. (No wars, don't want that in this thread)

I'm ready for big changes. They play it far too safe. Gear upgrades are minimal stat bumps with nothing interesting going on. Patch progression is remove the old tomestones, add in new tomestones, add 2 (used to be 3) dungeons, an 8-person raid, and then a 24-person raid with catch-up item boosts. Even something as absolutely interesting as Nyzul Isle in FFXI is going to be coming to FFXIV in what appears to be a weaker form since the rewards are looking to be just cosmetic and "save data" is based on party composition instead of personal progress. That appears to mean that you can't grab 3 other people who have cleared up to floor 40 and begin on floor 41; you have to have the exact same 3 people you ran with before or you're starting back on floor 1.

It just seems like their content (apart from story) is just a cycle of stagnation with elements borrowed from FFXI but not implemented nearly as well. So, yeah, sign me up for shaking things up.

I would like to see changes to the way stats or used and how our stats affect the skills we used.
More customization and less cookie-cutter builds. Give us a reason to allocate stats differently from another person.

This may suprise some of you but I'm gonna put my vote in with "hell yes".

I don't know which one I should vote. Yes, I'd like to see a change in the current formula and more diverse content (which is happening with aquapolis imo) but I don't believe that changing how the stats works would make it any better tbh. It just bring a false illusion of customization.

How I feel as well.

I'm ready for some changes. I'm hoping deep dungeon is a step towards that direction.

You know there's far too small a sample size of players that read this and far too many that steer clear of this forum to consider any kind of poll worthwhile.

I voted to a degree though I dont know if that option really represents what I mean.

I DO want more diverse content and ways to get gear (which Palace of the Dead seems to be going in the right direction for me) but I do NOT want some really huge overhaul of all the stats and sudden changes to something like pure horizontal progression and such like some people might want

I like current system. See no need for change.
