Hotels and Discounts [Fanfest]

So the FAQ states they have a link for "Special Rates" that turn out to be the same rates for standard booking. Is there supposed to be something else I'm missing here? The room I've got booked early on (since Fanfest was first announced for this year) isn't even on the list for this either.

No, it is cheaper, depending on your selection, its over 200 a night for friday and saturday nights without using their event booking.

When I compared it (in another browser because cookies, you know..) the rooms were $180. On top of that, the rooms were limited to Red Rooms at best.

You looking for penthouse discounts? I just want a room at the venue to sleep in lol, who cares how fancy it is.

Well, it have a discount but ti is not much of one. Including tax and resort fee for 3 night it will be 600 ish
