Launcher not updating after latest hotfixes {PS4}

This irritating problem has affected me several times in the past, usually going away after a few hours. This time however this minuscule update has failed to be detected by the launcher for over a day. I've tried resetting the router, rebuilding database and using a different connection method ( LAN/Wifi ) the problem isn't going away and when I check for updates it claims to be the latest version. How do I fix this SE? Why is it still a thing?! I'd rather not have an unplayable game taking up space.
