Ever since Transferring to Leviathan, my game freezes every time I am in combat.

If I am in a group, and we are fighting anything, anywhere. Dungeon, Trial, FATEs whatever.

The game will freeze for 3 seconds. I can still move and attack, but there are no effects, NOTHING else on the screen moves. then, 3 seconds later, everything moves all at once and all of the spell/skill effects go off simultaneously.

I don't recall this ever happening to me on Brynhildr, but ever since I transferred to Leviathan, it happens in every single fight. Every. Single. One.

there is my speedtest, if that means anything. I am on PS4, my internet connection is hardwired. . also, I have not experienced lag in any other game I play. I currently play Overwatch, Elder Scrolls Online, and NBA 2k16, and I have not experienced any issues like this in any of these games.

I'm going to factory reset my modem and hopefully that will help, but if not:

Is there any way I could have my server transfer reversed and go back to Brynhildr, or would I just have to pay another 18 dollars?

this issue is making FFXIV unplayable for me.

Definitely a lag issue I'm afraid, I believe that it's the type called "rubber banding". It might be something that would have affected you at the moment should you have stayed on Brynhildr (there's complaints about all Primal data centre since 3.3) but I can't know that.

Theoretically both Brynhildr & Leviathan should be only inches or feet apart in the same building which means there should be no difference, but I have suggested before that there may be issues interior to the SE server network that could cause things like this. All it takes is interference on one connection to introduce errors specific to that server.

I've been having the same problem lately thinking about getting a vpn but I don't want to spend money if I don't need to ;_;
