How Unfair or Bad Will Server Lag Be With Evil Moogle Primal Battle in 1.20?

Hi All,

Seeing how many people are suffering from Server Lag with Hyper Ifrit, and Square designing the Primal battle based on fast / twitch reaction times, and seeing Yoshida-san's comment about the next Primal Battle makes me worried:

this is why V2.0 comes out. fixing issues about server lag, etc etc etc. there is nothing they can do about it. so why make a pointless thread when the issue is already explained?

Hm? Evil Moogle is coming out before 2.0. How is that pointless?

I'm asking for consideration from Yoshida-san and the Battle Team to take into account the lag situation across the world, outside of Japan for balancing for Evil Moogle (1.20). That's all.

They are, that's why Yoshida asked if people could submit feedback regarding it so they can adjust settings on their end to see if it helps, since a lot of people report different type of latency issues.

begging the game designer's for taking account into lag is COMPLETLY out of thier hands, i mean even if you want to make the battle easier, it will not give good feedbacks based on your lag. this is not your problem, this is SE side of server lag issue.

I honestly don't mind how many times this is brought up. I'm glad they admitted it needed addressed and asked for feedback, it is a glaringly evident problem.

And sure, part of it may be out of their hands, but you cant say its completely out of their hands.

No, they could take into account server lag with being slightly more generous with various attack / reaction windows.

For example, instead of making it so that Ifrit's Ground Eruption only has, say, ~0.5 seconds from Glow (Visual Tell) to Explosion, they could compensate by making it so that the window is ~0.75 seconds or 1 second from Glow to Explosion.

It makes it "easier" but it also grants more reaction time to take into account this lag.
