hotbars question please

been putting off asking for a whiles but figured id ask now since i wanna try focusing on crafting again for a whiles but

is there a way to disable shared hotbars between all classes?? reason i havent really dived into endgame crafting on ps4 is due to having to scroll through all hotbars during battles it annoys me since my bard buff hotbar shows on all other classes i play which means extra hotbar i really dont wanna have to scroll through during a boss battle lol newbie question i know xD

Are you sharing literally all your crossbars between classes? Damn
There's an option for hotbar and crossbar sharing in the...character options...yes, i believe it's under there

You can select which specific HB/CHB to share. For example I share 5-8. 1-4 of my cross bar is class specific (goes for craft/gather classes too).

EDIT also to quickly get to a specific cross bar, hold the right shoulder button + DPAD or the regular buttons (a popup should tell you which bar is mapped to which). I figure you're using a controller since you said PS4 but.
Anyway so you don't have to scroll through each crossbar every single time. I couldn't even imagine doing that on m SCH. Everyone would be dead.

Yes! Wow, sharing all would be impossible; I only share two.

Character Config -> Hotbar settings -> Sharing -> Select the cross hotbars you want to share.

BUT I think you will have to redo all your hotbars - if you deselect sharing one while it's full it doesn't seem to register the switch, unless they changed it.

Open up Character Configuration --> Hotbars --> Sharing

You can then (un)check which hotbars will be shared between all classes. For instance, I have hotbars one through five unchecked so whenever I switch classes, those five bars are unique to said class.

tyvm thats more or less what im after lol i assume on ps4 you would need 3 hotbars for crafting classes correct?? its annoying so glad i finally asked xD

I use only 2 cross-bars (32 slots) for crafting skills

tyvm :3 i originally was big on crafting but had the error when turned off ps4 while it was saving and corrupted everything so didnt bother crafting again n couldnt remember if you could disable shared hotbars lol
