I'm still confused and waiting for this "article" this GM rep was talking about. Gave him some ideas but it was still unusual for a GM to even come without any armor or even as a cat race xD. I thought they normally come down as human races usually.

That's an event made for roleplaying. Even if characters are most likely played by the Support Team, it doesn't mean that the character have a GM role at that very moment. He/she is not there to issue a penalty etc.

The Judge Helm icon is most likely used just so players knows it is an "official" character played by SE employee and not a random guy doing an event.

Aww, I always miss them..:(
