I've been running fates to get the crystals for the relic but I can't get any to drop on white Mage. I've gotten some as a paladin but none as my main healer. Is it my weapon? I use the i210 Seraph Cane. Can I get some tips or something please?

I never fully finished the original relic quests and sold my relic for space lol so I don't have it anymore.

Well first of all i assume you have the quest open, as if you dont, crystals dont drop. Second, are you getting a high enough completion rank for fates on WHM to be able to get a crystal? Third, rng is rng, sometimes its good to you, sometimes its not.

I've been doing them for the past 2 weeks as white Mage with no luck. Getting good ranks and having the quest active but nothing. I post this and I've an almost 90% drop rate on them. Just got 6 in a row.

Funny... it felt like more crystals dropped while I was on white mage as opposed to any other job.

Which I feel like I have to add that I only got them as WHM once I posted this thread. I post this and got the other 12 I needed almost back to back.Quote:

Something I noticed and maybe its just pure luck, but I would do 5 fates on 1 job, then switch to another and do 5 again. Mostly got 3 out of of 5 fates every time. Only map that took forever for me personally was Sea of Clouds. While everybody else got their crystals within couple of fates, took me over 2 hrs before I even saw 1 crystal drop lol
After that I decided to just turn in my old zeta's (for alts) and skip that part all along... Yes I love cheating the system shhh :d
