I think watering the flowers and using fertilizer makes it bloom faster but not sure, it took more than 24h here to have them bloom
But will they die if I fail to water them for 24 hours? I don't want a repeat of my famous dead Glazenut pile of 2015 that led me to quit gardening.
I usually tend mine once just before heading off for the night, just because I water plants once in the morning and once at night regularly (but these grow so fast I don't hit'em in the morning). I've not tried just planting and leaving them to see what happens yet. Remember for the pomace, it works like fertilizer so you can only change the color once an hour. If you use all 3 colors on it by the end then you have a random chance at either a regular color, white, black or rainbow flowers.
Out of curiosity I let one go without tending and it was ready to harvest just like the one I did tend. Looks like for the fast growing seeds (1 day grow time) you're able to get away with just planting (and fertilizing to change colors as you wish). Anything longer you'll want to make sure you tend though so they don't go bad. :)
You can actually have more colors, I made green and orange ones, now working on making purple ones.
