This is just something I've been thinking in and out of for awhile, but why not add new "Change Pose" emotes for all races? Not just one, but four brand new poses. The one's we already have are starting to get a bit stale after two years. Well, at least to me they are. ^^;

Thanks! It's only a small suggestion, but it'd make a big impact with many players! For example, the female Miqo'te's poses are all incredibly plain and basic, especially when compared with the Au'ra. Giving all races a new set of "Change Pose"s alongside the already existing ones would give us more variety to work with.
I really hope this thread gets noticed by many other players wanting the same thing and FFXIV development team considers it. :D
How many idle animations can one person have? I think each race and gender have 5, that seems plenty to me.
Yeah, but we have over six or so dance styles when we could simply use the simple "Dance" emote already given to us before unlocking the others. Having more "Change Pose" emotes wouldn't be a bad thing to have. It's just that after awhile of seeing the same old pose emotes over and over and over and over again... Why not ask for some fresh new ones to bring more variety? FFXIV's development team had added a third sitting pose emote some months back and nobody thought anything of it, so what harm would it do to ask for a few new "Change Pose" emotes?
What happens 2 years from now when those idle poses get stale? Add 4 more? And 2 years from then, 4 more again?
Keep in mind that by requesting 4 new idle poses, you are in fact requesting 56 new idle poses, 4 for each race and gender, plus 8 for Highlanders.
As for the added sit poses, just because you didn't think anything of it doesn't mean nobody did. I very much prefer the new male Hyur sit pose, and half a dozen of my FC members had a hoot with the new male Au'ra sit pose.
The reason more sit poses were added was because there was only 3 of them compared to the 5 idle poses.
Back to my original comment, just how many idle poses can there be that look natural for the race and gender?
If you didn't watch the live letter, yoshi-P said that adding more poses can be done and could be implemented as soon as patch 3.35. So, something to look forward to!
Yay, thanks Yoshi-P! :D I hope they go with adding more poses. At least one or two new ones unique to each race or pose(s) every races uses! That way there isn't a pose emote overload after every few patches when new emotes are added. ^^

Forgive me, I must clarify. I believe they are just adding new sleeping poses for now.
More Emotes.. Yes I want the push-up and the squat emote like the ones in camp dragonhead
