There needs to be a map legend.

There needs to be a map legend to help accommodate new players joining this game and to help accommodate the ongoing changes to the UI, and the game icons changing. Doing something would be as simple as adding it on top of the existing map. Please Square Enix consider implementing this as you have recently been doing a lot of changes to the map by adding zone flow lines and other things. I feel this would be a great quality of life change. That is all.:)

I agree. Version 1.0 did get a map legend eventually... but I think here SE decided instead of having a map key that instead by rolling over the mouse cursor over the icon on the map will show what the icon is. Personally I think they should go with both, as a lot of icons are not really that obvious as to what they are. An icon legend would really improve things, especially for new players.

If they add it, I'd really hope it would be toggleable. While I think the idea itself is great, I'd rather be able to hide it when I don't need it :)
