Mac Client Cannot be Opened
Hi,
I have tried to update the game through the launcher on the day when the maintenance was over, but the launcher reported updating failed and the ffxiv application cannot be opened again. I have tried restart and reopen it, but it was still the same thing. There is also no repair tool in the content package, so the only thing I can do is to delete the game completely and reinstalled it.
However, it is easier said than done :) I could not find anywhere on the website of both ffxiv and SE that provide any sort of digital download options whatsoever. I might just be stupid on this, but I have googled it which leads me to the SE store. Well, I have bought the Mac version of ffxiv on the SE store EU just before the launch of HW last year, there must be an original download link in my Orders record. No no no, the EU store will be not be available until 9th June due to a revamp. Okay, today is the 9th and I checked it out and there is nothing left in my Orders...
So could someone just give me a link for the Mac client download? I might just be too dumb to find it out myself, but still, why should it be so difficult for a customer to just download the game straight away? I do know there is no problem for downloading the Windows version because you can find a link from the NA website. Why is SE so stingy on this? I really cannot understand the marketing logic behind it. Sometimes I genuinely appreciate how good Blizzard's launcher is. Anyway, thank you very much for reading the post.
